Slab leaks under tile floors
Many Verrado homes are built on concrete slabs with supply lines running through or under the concrete. In some homes those lines are copper. Over time, copper in contact with concrete and soil can wear, and small leaks form. Because most Verrado homes have large tile areas, a slab leak can spread a long way under the floor before anyone notices a warm spot or damp grout.
Hillside runoff during monsoon storms
Verrado's slopes are part of what makes it beautiful, but they also move water. During heavy monsoon rain, runoff comes down from higher lots and streets.
